Leader of the Ta culture, Herald of the Kor-Ha, Regent of the Harakhti Realm, and Master of The Inner Dark, the Atenubi Taharakhti is an inner mind-being that personifies once every 72 million years with one purpose, which is universal order. He is the wielder of the “Atenu”, the absolute recalibration and recapitulation powers of reality. As a necromancer, he is formidable with the use of the forces of life and death as weapons… or for other uses.
Born in the lands between the Fires of the South and the Black Kingdoms as Dy’ez, the son of common peasants. The horrors of the lands to the south of the Black Kingdoms ensures that any survivors are personally familiar with the conditions that forge the hardest of men. In such a harsh environment, sorcery is necessary to survive. As a child, having witnessed necromancers take the souls of numerous people, Dy’ez was introduced to sorcery. He exhibited an insatiable interest in the arcane, knowing it to be necessary for survival and power.
As a young man, seeking to escape the Fires of The South and the Black Kingdoms, Dy’Ez joined the Stygian military as a War Mage, where he gained knowledge of the world and all it has to offer. He was not pleased. Knowing the nature of common people, he left the Stygian military seeking to dilate what had been accumulating in him since he was born… dark power. He knew that Acheronian Sorcery is the absolute expression of dark power.
In his travels, he accumulated knowledge of the Outer Dark that has destroyed many sorcerers before him. As a result, this bound him to the Kor-Ha, the sun itself and every star in the universe, being the vessel by which the impersonal minds of nature converge to gain personal experience and “Tirax“, which is absolute dark energy of varying qualities. Because of this Dy’ez is constantly in a state of “Haapu” communication with the Kor-Ha and the minds of the Outer Dark which “whisper” to him anything he wishes to know. The downside to this is that he no longer has the ability to choose any other path. Any step into the Outer Dark is a step away from the light. When Dy’ez dilated Outer Dark energies within himself via ritual and projected it into the world, he dilated the Atenubi Taharakhti, herald of the new era… the recapitulation and rejuvenation of the Ta people, ancient arch-enemies of the Stygians and all people of this world.
To use his power in the greatest ways possible, the Atenubi Taharakhti must raise 70 specific people, vessels of the “Taar“. This is his mission and absolute order is his legacy. Anything that does not contribute to that outcome is of no concern to him. When this goal is achieved, he is able to bring forth the “Axwad“, a dark power which he will use to project information into the future for the survival of the Ta. The Stygians seek to stop this in any way possible because it threatens their future and their current standing.
In the pursuit of sorcerous knowledge and artifacts, he willingly antagonized the Stygians in order to be sent to the Exiled Lands. It is in the Exiled Lands where he learned of all it holds. He made the Exiled Lands his sanctuary. Away from the rest of the world, the Exiled Lands offered opportunities that are not possible elsewhere. It is in the Exiled Lands the he established the Harakhti Realm and he extended that realm onto the Isle of Siptah, which is where he spends most of his time.

He spends his personal time studying arcane tomes and conducting the darkest rituals in the Tower at the center of the Isle of Siptah, having arrived there as the strangest type of cargo aboard an Argossean slave ship after being defeated in a fight with a high ranking Stygian military officer. When not on the Isle of Siptah, the Atenubi Taharakhti is found traversing the Exiled Lands taking the lives and soul essence of all that oppose him.
