The inception of the Seminary of the Outer Dark owes its existence to universal order, an inevitable consequence of a world dominated by the reprobate. Its edifice, hidden within the mists of a known yet sequestered realm, promises those who are qualified, a journey of immense learning and esoteric discovery.

The Seminary of The Outer Dark offers a path to mastering the arts of sorcery. Practical sessions are designed for the novice and the experienced alike, educating you on the history, understanding, and applications of sorcery.

An essential part of learning sorcery at the Seminary of Outer Dark is to get accustomed to the boundless dimension of the Outer Dark. Cryptic to the ignorant and outsiders, the Outer Dark is a realm of existence unlike any other, revealed via “quiet whispers”.

You must master the art of dealing with the unknown, for they will often find themselves treading upon perpetual enigmas and secrets as you learn sorcery. This requires full development of your abilities. The journey is often fraught with unexpected challenges and trials that help refine and temper your skills as a sorcerer.

Arcane knowledge and power always has a price. Acheronian Sorcery alters your being and sets you on a path that mere mortals will ever consider. The Cave of Kurak is where it begins, but it ends with the Outer Dark.

Learn and practice the disciplines of thaumaturgy, demonology, illusion, necromancy, and divination. You will know power, but only one can be the most powerful.

On or off the battlefield, a sorcerer well-trained in the ways of "Shadow Force" combat is the most formidable force for any adversary to contend with. The Exiled Lands is a harsh and unforgiving place, exceeded only by the  horrors unleashed by a master of this deadly practice.

These e-books are required for learning and maintaining lore accuracy with your character and gameplay. These e-books provide the necessary information that is the standard for the game and that standard is the lore. Without the lore, there would be no Conan Exiles game and we would not be able to experience the digital realization of Acheronian Sorcery. Robert E. Howard was careful to not restrict the creativity of his readers, but that creativity is limited to and within the Hyborian world and, just like in the real world, there are rules. Robert E. Howard set the rules when he created the Hyborian world. Any deviance from the standard that is the lore is a perversion and not a part of the Hyborian world. In short, any imagination that is outside or away from the Hyborian world is clearly not part of the Hyborian world.

Characters:
-If you are a male, use an original/unique male character and an original/unique male name.
-If you are a female, use an original/unique female character and an original/unique female name.

Violation of this rule merits an instant ban from the server.

Reason: Anything that is outside or away from the Hyborian era or age is clearly not part of the Hyborian world. Deviance from the lore. Willful ignorance. Direct Violation.

Building:

-Build anywhere. If an area is contested, the matter can be resolved via battle (willing participants on agreed terms) or the Gamemaster.
-Do not block points of interest.
-Do not build in areas of interest.
-No “Purge Bases”, “Mesh Bases”, or “Sky Bases”

Violation of this rule merits complete removal of all building pieces in the area or point of interest.

Reason: Direct violation.

Gameplay:

Players must use a microphone and the PlayStation Network for communication. There is no text chat because text chatting interrupts the experience and breaks the immersion. Each clan is to set their own clan specific rules, but no clan specific rule can override any server rule.

Violation of this rule merits being banned from the server.
